Objectives

  • Participants will identify how to leverage the therapeutic power of play to foster emotional wellness and enhance self-regulation in children of high-conflict divorce while maintaining ethical boundaries regarding dual relationships and court involvement.
  • Participants will formulate clear clinical boundary agreements with high-conflict parents using play therapy principles that protect the child-therapist relationship from parental alignment pressures.
  • Participants will develop transparent billing practices for collateral meetings that support co-parenting goals while safeguarding the play therapy process and the child’s therapeutic space.
