Office Manager – Pooler
Seeking candidate for an administrative position in a private mental health office setting. Tasks to include primarily office assistance. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required for this position. We are looking for someone dependable and hard-working. The position is responsible for answering phones, obtaining client intake forms, collecting client information and insurance verification, checking in clients, and scheduling clients in an outpatient mental health setting. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and will have excellent phone and computer skills. They will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and take on additional duties when requested. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical, dental, or mental health (or related setting) administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming telephone calls and emails as needed, including the scheduling of
- Gather client information via intake forms (intake process)
- Insurance verification
- Return client phone calls or emails in regards to scheduling (new and current clients)
- Schedule new client appointments with providers via the practice management system
- Assist with cleaning and organization of the office (Pooler location)
- Assist in payment collections/questions
- Assist with monthly invoice aging report and follow-up
appointments, new referrals, and case management request
Qualifications:
- Previous office experience
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to interact with clients in a pleasant and professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take direction
- Punctual/reliable
- Computer/phone skills a must
- Customer Service experience preferred
